Locally owned. Racine built.
WHEELS Small Engine Repair is a locally owned shop in Racine, Wisconsin, run by owner Keith Buisse out of 3625 16th Street. We keep Racine, Oak Creek, Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie running through every season: lawn mowers and riding tractors in the summer, snowblowers in the winter, and the chainsaws, trimmers and leaf blowers that fill in between.
This site is the shop's online home. It tells you what we service (4-cycle engine repair, mower blade sharpening, chainsaw sharpening and a well-stocked parts desk), shows the equipment we currently have for sale with real photos, prices and availability, and lets you reach us directly by phone or message. If you don't want to load your equipment into a truck, our pick-up and delivery service will grab it and bring it back when the work is done.
We're an authorized EGO Power+ service and warranty center, a Bradley Mowers dealer, and we work on the gas and battery machines our neighbors actually use. Every listing and update on this site is added and maintained by Keith and the crew at the shop, so what you see here is exactly what's on our floor.
WHEELS was established by Keith Buisse in 2014. Keith had a snowmobile accident in 2008, which left him paralyzed and wheelchair-bound. Through the grace of God the Father, he has overcome the adversity and limitations of this handicap. Six years after the accident, with four semesters of small engine classes at MATC and after many years doing small engine repair work from his garage, Keith made the move to start WHEELS Small Engine Repair. God opened the doors for a building on 16th Street as the home for "Wheels".
After the grand opening in March 2014, business flourished and more employees were needed. "Wheels" now employs four mechanics. Positive connections and feedback from customers has helped to make "Wheels" a growing business.
